Honestly a more chilling and more realistic future dystopia than most similar movies that I have seen.
The enclosure and privatization of water, the remote warfare, the outsourcing of low-wage labor, and the commodification of memories all seem more prescient than something like the Hunger Games.
Chances are Mexico will bear more of the brunt of a dystopic future than the U.S. will, and I think this movie predicts some of the ways a capitalist future will subjugate poorer countries…Translated from by -
