Really boring and felt like those cheap 2010's CW superhero shows in most action scenes.

I did like the Manchurian Candidate-y plotline in the first 1/3rd of it, and the last ~10 or so minutes with Red Hulk were cute.

Do yourself a favor and read the Immortal Hulk series by Ewing instead.

    A story of symbols.

It's hard to imagine a kind-of grimy, scary retelling mish-mash of the creation myths shot in the manner of a nature documentary, but this NAILS it. It's somber, it's honest, but still manages the line between the beautiful and the ugly (i.e the cutaways to flowers as Mother Earth's corpse is stuffed underground, etc).

Like Barry Lyndon, almost every frame of this could be hung up as a painting (albeit this is slightly more disquieting).

A wonderful satire and love letter to the western artistic tradition. I wish someone told me this is a personal tragedy akin to Citizen Kane/ King Lear. It's just SO optimistic while not quite reaching the quixotic with its themes of a "radical idealism". Some aspects are dragged out, but like the rest of the film, MAXIMALISM and EXCESS are its chief targets.
