Not nearly as engrossed as I was in the first. It kinda baffles me that DeNiro won for this performance (which was still good don't get me wrong), as only nominated for taxi driver, and pacino didn't even get nominated for his performance in the first. Personally I think Vito's arc becomes pretty self explanatory after he kills fanucci, but I still enjoyed watching it. The ending felt a little derivative but the extra scene at the table elevates it above the ending of the first for me.
