'Carbon Copy' is a Denzel Washington flick that only a few have apparently seen; just 2.9k watched on Letterboxd, for example. That's a surprise, as is the film itself frankly. It's a bit of a trip. I knew it'd be to do with race due to the poster/title, but it's the entire plot.

I was getting major vibes of 'Trading Places' throughout, there are plenty of differences, for sure, but the white guy's trajectory is fairly similar. That Landis flick…

'Footnote' didn't really do it for me. The slow start was hindering early on, specifically that very first scene where we just linger on Eliezer and Uriel; I get why, it just didn't work in getting me hooked. I found the characters kinda unlikeable too; by design, but still.

However, I had a seriously good time viewing it!

It's, in my opinion, a well crafted movie and, unexpectedly,…

A tough one to review as I'm not totally sure how I feel about it.

I'll start with the positives that I have for 'We Couldn’t Become Adults'. For one, the cast. I enjoyed the performances from those onscreen, I wouldn't say any of them are all that all-star but I did like watching them act. Mirai Moriyama, Sairi Itô and Sumire stick out most. The look of the film is also nicely done, while there's a neat end credits…
