  I felt nearly every second of this film. The cenobite design was great even though I missed the BDSM leather. 

  Overall, I just didn’t dig the main narrative nor the reimagining of the lament configuration. Also, the film came off as more of a slasher than I would have liked. 

  I really really wanted to like this, but I found myself missing the psychosexual themes and general meanspiritedness of Julia + Frank as the main antagonists. Voight felt like a…
