  Sinister is the most frustrating example of wasted potential I have ever seen. The setup for the movie being about a true crime novelist who moves his family to the house where the crime he’s writing about took place is ingenious. The sound design and music during the 8mm fake snuff films segments will stick with me for a very long time.
