There are so many things that can be said about this film. I think the first point was the wrong casting for the role of Lilly, which spiraled into all the other issues we see in the comments on disconnect from the book, wardrobe, cast chemistry, etc. The casting of Blake Lively, such an A-list celebrity, probably impacted budget for other things I mentioned above that felt like they were missing. If I were to do it all over again…
