The whole cinematography reflected the very thesis of the film, begging the viewer to ask: “Must I be constantly stimulated to claim time well spent?” and “Does art require an idealistic experience to be received?” Two hours spent with two men, dinner with no appetizers, and the reality of a darkening feudalistic social world we now navigate.

OG king of cinematography. Countless movie stills that best exemplify the eerie, unnerving nature Hitchcock always brings. I will say the ending was more clear cut then the usual mind fu€%. Instead of a satisfactory ending in that regard, it felt strayed from Hitchock’s usual framework.
