Sooooo, it definitely was hyped up WAY too much, but it was frankly a good watch!
Ariana played Glinda in a unique, bubbly and comical way which I loved, and the songs were catchy.
I’m not sure it needed to be as long as it was, and I wish there were a few more hidden treasures foreshadowing the future of OZ and Elphaba.
Regardless, it was fun and I will watch part 2 when it comes out!

I feel like I stepped inside a painting/ a sketched out world like no other. It is interesting how there is not one word spoken, and the characters are seemingly emotionless—no eyes, no mouth, no color but their clothes—yet the story is so rich in feeling and enlightenment. I really really liked this little short.
There seems like there is a lot to unpack contextually, especially with the pile of hats at the end. This made me feel warm and cozy—yet I was biting my nails the whole time!
I hope it wins an Oscar!!
