I enjoyed this immensely. It’s not a perfect film but it’s really good. The final scene takes off a whole star imo. It felt totally unnecessary and to me it actually killed a lot of the enchantment and poetic space the film had been stewing in for its duration. I dk maybe I’m missing something but other than some gratifying reflections on the strangeness of 80s aesthetics I feel like this didn’t have a lot more going for it than ur typical run of the mill serial killer slasher movie albeit with the added flair of some visually interesting Argento kind of shots and humor
