I am waaaay more forgiving of this movie now than I was when it came out. This movie is fun! No, not necessarily good, but fun! Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
This one was a doozy. I had fun! But I am weirded out at a corporation acknowledging its hostile takeover of another major media conglomerate in the form of a comedy movie. I would be pleasantly surprised by a Disney movie making fun of its own previous failures, but instead of touching on the missteps of a dying MCU, this is primarily a Disney movie making fun of Fox’s previous failures. Weird little festival of billion dollar corporations shaming each other. Aside from that some really fantastic visual design, well choreographed (if gratuitous) fight scenes, and a lotta stuff for the terminally online media nerd.

There is some pretty great feats in visual design and direction across the board in this movie, I was fascinated by the look of the count, loved the costumes, sets, as well as some of the instances of worldbuilding.
