We’re so fuckin lucky to be in an era where horror and science fiction are thriving.
“Companion” has been on my list since day one.
Instead of giving a lil synopsis I’ll just say it’s a sci fi thriller with horror vibes.
This is another dope ass movie, again from a writer director I’m not familiar with.
Written and directed by Drew Hancock, who did a stellar job executing his vision.
    Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid.
    They both brought their…

    “Heart Eyes” fucks hella hard.
Rom com slashers have to be one of the most difficult sub genres to nail.
    Imo they crushed it.
Right out the gate it’s hilarious and bloody.
It never takes itself too serious.

You can tell that she’s influenced by the likes of John Carpenter, David Cronenberg, and David Lynch.
    The closeups are so good.
    Also the sound design and…

Whenever I walk into an ‘Alien’ film I always have my eye on the droid.
    My expectations were extremely high.
Somehow it lived up to them.
Immediately it starts with all the old school analog tech that matches the og.
It’s not worried about rushing into things it takes its time with pace in a good way.
Definitely feels like Fede Álvarez wanted it to have the vibe of the first one.
Caliee Spaeny is excellent as the new lead. …
