  this movie man... my god... what a beautiful story. it tugs your heart in all directions over and over and never lets up. the animation is beyond gorgeous. the performances are excellent. and the story is just so special.

  this film is masterful in taking some familiar genre ideas and pushing them and adding to them constantly in order to extract the most beautiful and emotional storytelling possible.

  i have no complaints. this absolutely moved me. it was a masterpiece. maybe my favourite anime film ever.

  this movie was so awesome. i don't know how common this take is, but i prefer this over the Lugosi version, which i also loved.

  where the Lugosi film is pretty shy about the violence, this film absolutely goes for it with all the glorious old school technicolor blood. they be staking mfers left and right, and the final scene is an awesomely violent spectacle.

  this movie is fast paced, zero fat, just pure vampire fun with an absolutely booming…

  this movie blew my damn nips off. i want to cry that was so good.

  there are shots in this movie that are just... indescribable. my jaw dropped several times just looking at the imagery on screen. it is one of the most beautiful horror films i have ever seen. every technical aspect of this movie is just beyond premium. this is high art with monster fucking. i loved every single second of it.

  THAT. MOVIE. WAS. FUCKING. BONKERS.

  oh i loved every disgusting, slimy, horrific, weirdly horny second of it. that was pure madness soaked in neon pink.
