  Felt like Dev Patel the director was doing a little too much here but Dev Patel the actor was always hitting the exact right notes. However, I think it works more often than it doesn’t and when it hits it really fucking hits.
  I’m also all about the references to real-life people (Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath), places, and events (more on that here).
