Moana 2 takes audiences on yet another journey across the waves, but this time with a mixed bag of storytelling. While the plot doesn't quite hit the mark in terms of depth or memorability, the movie truly shines in its visual and sound design. The stunning animation brings the ocean and landscapes to life, leaving viewers in awe of the rich colors and intricate details. Meanwhile, the sound design and music complement the visuals perfectly, immersing you in the world of Moana.

What an experience it was! This is one of the best suspense thrillers I’ve seen in a long time, hooking me from beginning to end. The screenplay is finely crafted, keeping the tension high throughout. The score perfectly complements the film, enhancing every moment. Vijay Sethupathi delivers one of his best performances, truly embodying his character. Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, this film is a masterful piece of work. “Maharaja” is undoubtedly a standout film, and I highly recommend it.

    ★★½

Kalki’s first half is mostly dull, with much of the runtime wasted instead of advancing the story. Prabhas’s portions are particularly lackluster. Just when the story seems to really begin, the movie is almost over. While the dystopian visuals, mythology connections, and background score are all fine, the writing is lacking. The storyline is missing a solid foundation, leaving me with many doubts and a sense of confusion by the end.
