such a good nolan film. rewatched it recently. the ability to keep the audience engaged in each timeline is masterful by sir nolan. theres also some writing tidbits that stand out and are very memorable. opening scene is one of the coolest ever. nolan is amazing at starting a movie with a punch (dark knight)

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
hard for a sequel to be better than an original. but this is one of those rare cases. although not significantly better, just slightly. spot was a great villain for this film and i loved daniel kaluuya as spider punk. writing was sharp with its quick jokes. animation was beyond incredible

goddamn this thing was long. what a great ensemble cast. everyone was awesome, spike jonze killed it!!! loved to see him. margot looked like a snack. brad also looked like a snack. the score really stood out, chazelle really know how to mesh video and audio. the long takes were also awesome with so much chaos going, it mustve taken so long to rehearse it. felt some plotlines and characters couldve been expanded but it was a fun movie experience.

jordan peele cannot miss. his masterful direction really makes for this film to be a fun ride that weaves between a past event and the ‘current’. the past event may seem incomplete and only serves purpose thematically and not narratively, but i like that its in the story. keke, daniel, and steven are wonderful in their roles. love that jordan and hoyte worked together on this, the cinematography was incredible. the wide shots - wow.
