Predictable but fun slasher flick from Sweden. I like how they were able to achieve something in the end that most of the films from this genre failed.

It's a fast paced and well made thriller. It gives you the same experience as watching Die Hard and Speed movies. I wanted to watch something simple and straightforward and Netflix just gave me the exact kind of a film. The main two lead performances were excellent especially Jason Bateman. We have already seen these types of films with the same template but the execution was entertaining so I liked it.

Plot: Based of the book in the same name and story is narrated by book author himself. It's a comic of age tale of a young man with dark past coming full circle in his life. In a small town with sinister character each playing their role. How religion affected the lives of people at that time of era is cruelty at its peak.
It is a grim but slow psychological drama thriller. Takes of slow at start bit lagged…
