Cute, buttoned-up film about what it might take to achieve your dreams, and sometimes that is adopting the corporate traits of a Karen.

Beautiful to look at, like being told a story from a lushly illustrated book. Even the trash in puddles is beautiful.

Somehow exactly pinpoints what it is like to work for an artist and a manager who needs to be managed.

Gives us a peek into the depressing, clever maze of obtaining a work visa, and being a person who dreams made to work. Also something about misery and New York.

My crush on Julio Torres despite being a lesbian abounds.

This feels like the correct movie to have ended this year on. Disappointing and a last gasping puff at the "eat the rich" trope. For a weird gross and opulent Yuletide movie featuring Barry Keoghan, The Green Knight already exists! Nice music tho and some shots were lovely. Nice casting. The three scenes that had everyone's mom clutching her pearls were quite tame so maybe I'm the problem?

Probably the movie I've seen the most times in my life and yet it took this rewatch to realize the guys were all doing different little bits

Honestly given MP's other work I'm surprised how well this holds up. It's God's biggest shitpost and yet they also made a beautiful and interesting movie that probably also made a bunch of other neurodivergent fifth graders obsessed with the middle ages and avante garde humor/white dude improv

I mean I can't just keep saying every don bluth blended animation and CGI experimental film made between 2001 and 2004 is perfect and also made me gay, but here we are. Also this movie really brought back teal, and KEPT tank tops in.
