I understand that this film is supposed to be feminist, but my issue with it is that it seems to be blaming Elizabeth/Sue for her/their desire/s rather than the industry that made her/them desire those things. Sure, it attempted to show just how evil the boss, the industry, and the audience can become, but the film just keeps forgetting this very important factor. It always comes back to Elizabeth's problem with Sue and Sue's problem with Elizabeth, never their realization of what society did to them.
