I know I will be in the minority here but I think this film was grossly underrated. I realize how great Aliens was, especially for being an action movie, but this was it's own complete film. It kept me on the edge of my seat and wondering what was going to happen to Ripley the entire time. Beautifully shot and very artistic. It's Fincher's first film but already shows he has a talent.

This film gives us a glimpse on a Korean family who move to the US to build a new life with dreams of becoming successful. But things prove far more difficult than planned. The father played by Steven Yuen gives a raw performance that is fantastic. He brings in his mother to help take care of the kids while dealing with work, water problems for the farm and marital issues. The film is nicely set up with strong character development. I liked it alot although I don't see myself watching it again.

Heart-breaking and sad, this is an intimate look on the life of Pat Morita who became an alcoholic and basically threw his life away. He became unemployable and depressed until the alcoholism took his life away.

Quite possibly the best show I have watched on NETFLIX. It focuses on Beth Harmon, a high functioning autistic girl who learns to become a chess sensation. With all her success she is lonely and without many friends as she self-destructs into drugs. She eventually picks herself back up and becomes the reigning chess champ.
