  Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 1983

  - What's the matter, daddy?
  - Gas!
  - Must be that pizza you had for lunch.
  - Not my belly, the tank!

  While this one might be the fans’ least favorite among the trilogy, it’s still treated unfairly, mainly because it’s compared to the 2 superior prequels. However, this is still pretty funny on its own, and Smokey is a hilarious comedic character worthy of his own movie. Actually, while Part 3 may lack in story and cast (mainly The Bandit), it retains the comedy from the sequels and possibly even improves upon it.

  This is what movies should be like. At just 75 minutes, Don’t Bother to Knock avoids all unnecessary convolutions and rather focuses on the raw plot, which in turn is engaging and carries a message. Marilyn Monroe specifically gives an impressive performance to say the least, in one of her very few such roles with such emotion and psyche involved. This is compelling cinema at its finest.
