  I guess if you managed to like Glass and Old (however ironic that "like" may be) then you'll enjoy this, too. It's been a while since I snickered and laughed so much at a purported thriller, but this one is unintentionally funny almost non-stop.

  The plot is tenuous at best and at worst you wouldn't even know there is a plot beyond the two title characters bickering their way through the multi-verse. And if that makes it sound like a Marvel buddy cip movie, don't get your hopes up. Wolverine is surly and Deadpool is quippy and that's the extent of their characters for the bulk of the film until the script decides it's time for a meatier scene.

  Furiosa had its work cut out for it from the start trying to live up to the experience of Mad Max: Fury Road, which is not only one of the best action-oriented films or all time, but simply one of the best films of all time period.

  So it's not surprise that Furiosa is not at that level. What is a surprise, though, is just how good it is regardless, despite living in the shadow of its predecessor.
