Really good movie... until the last 10-15 minutes.

The movie feels too afraid to take itself seriously, so it cops out with a crappy, unsatisfying, meta ending, instead of trying to be sincere. This is reflective of modern Hollywood as a whole, we make cheap, meta jokes, because we're too scared to be sincere, because it could be called "cringe."
