This is definitely the most tame out of all the Sam Peckinpah films I’ve seen. It’s just a simple straightforward story about a rodeo cowboy who’s coming back to his hometown to rekindle some lost connections with his family as well as ride a wild bull in the rodeo who he’s never gotten the upper hand off.
Very straightforward and simple. But a pleasant watch nonetheless.
