One of the best coming of age films I've ever seen. Calogero's character was brilliantly developed. What I loved the most about this film was the exploration of masculinity and toughness through Young Calogero conflicted between two models of masculinity in his vicinity, his father the working class man who emphasizes on hardwork and morality or the more appealing and charismatic Sonny who offers a quicker path to success. Jane well I didn't really care much about her character per say just seemed a little rushed but i think it was good enough to show the racial tensions.
