Jennifer's Body is a noughties' fest of sexualisation, fetishsation and unapologetic gore. The film utilizes the fear of any modern day man, a woman in touch with her sexuality. The film takes a spin on the take of what many pre-noughties' movies preyed upon, the murderous punishment of any woman who dared to enjoy sex. Not a single moment of this film left me wanting to look away. It's fun and striking cast of characters made for witty moments and poignant ones too.
Perhaps I'm partial to Depp but his acting of such a flamboyant character without completely forgetting it's person was one I quite enjoyed. Landau's performance as Bela Lugosi was a charming one, bringing him back to life (pun intended).
