  I love Brooke Dillman but her character deserves to die for the cookie sugar substitute with orange juice. The only miss this movie has was not showing the audience her demise because just planting the thought of an orange juice flavored cookie, we absolutely earned it.

  Also, Bill Murray is an American treasure.

  The half star is for Antonio Banderas' one scene when he finds out. That's the only scene worth anything in this 2 hour pile of garbage.

  The direction is horrible, the plot is ridiculous, and I'll never understand why people abuse their faces altering the way they look.

  Nicole Kidman is almost unrecognizable, not in the good way. Her face has more construction than the last 30 years of I-4, and nothing on that interstate is salvageable.

  This was nothing short of brilliant.

  This film is a marvelous piece of art from its storytelling, use of musical numbers, to the performances.

  Joaquin Phoenix is masterful once again and somehow, so different than the first. During one of the scenes, I heard his voice go to that frustrated and sad, confused teenager in Parenthood. From the method acting weight loss, to the dedication of pulling out an emotion from the viewer.
