  some of the most shallow writing and terrible pacing i have ever seen. for a film that is so character based, anora is extremely 2d. i see baker’s vision but the way the writing translates to the audience, in other words a human being trying to connect to the character on a deeper level, falls short. the film for me says it’s about “this” but the writing doesn’t explain it. the emotion behind that actions isn’t explored. in other words…

  what the brick! this is one of the most beautiful films I’ve ever seen. It’s so well written, not just the plot but Tyler’s character. It’s so interesting and keeps you invested. Wonderful acting and great directing. Had some really cool shots. Everyone needs to watch this.
