Plain boring script executed by an incredible cast of performances. Excellent depiction of familial dependency and communication. I was actually impressed with Emilia Jones's ability to actually have different tiers of singing as they explored and learned.

Transformers 2007
Is it self-aware? Did they try so hard to make a mid movie that it circled in on itself? There's just such blatantly selective humor in the beginning completely detached from the engagements and plot of the second half. The action is enjoyable and that's really its only saving part that is chained down by the unnecessary immature plotlines in the first half. Apparently the original comics are really good though so it is almost sad that the TV adaptation peaked here. I did really like the way the robots were animated to change and also reflect on their unboxed selves aspects of the design conveyed.

Godzilla vs. Kong 2021
Yo that was such a spike in goodness. That was really good, haven't seen GxK yet but enjoyed the cinematic fight scenes, well done for those scenes. Visuals stepped up too. Scale was odd at times with Kong fitting on an aircraft carrier then being taller than skyscrapers. Kong had times of moving fast for size but I think they suspension-of-disbelief balanced it with force and impact received. Kong having a blue axe and being connected to a child is humorously relatable to Kratos and Atreus, just need a bow heh. First Mecha Godzilla seeing for yours truly - not what I expected!

Dangly keys. "Every" trope. But should have gone further, refined more. The repeat scene going past 4 cycles was mind-breaking. I am so turn on how to rate this. it's a cycle of so bad it is good - but a different good. I dislike this, but I *should* dislike this, that's the intent. The silly high number of cameos is so spot on, but execution of jokes falls flat more often than it should. When you look at how many jokes are in even a minute of the film, that's a really high percentage that miss.
