The Roots opened my eyes when I saw them live in high school. Since then, I’ve been indebted to Questlove and will seek out whatever he touches.

My son wanted to see Daniel Radcliffe. My daughter wanted to see the jungle and adventure. I wanted to see something that wasn’t my news feed. We all got what we were looking for.

Moana's NOT a princess. She tells us that directly. But this latest addition to the Disney heroines line deserves to be considered animated royalty nonetheless. This was an excellent film! My five-year-old daughter and wife both loved it equally and I can't argue. It's empowering to see a strong, brave and intelligent, young woman of color fighting for her people.
