Blue Mountains, or Unbelievable Story 1983
An enjoyable satire about bureaucracy. This is a Soviet Georgian film, but it's incredibly relatable all over the world.

Desperately Seeking Susan 1985
Very enjoyable and fairly light-hearted film, with funny moments. The plot has some nice twists and it keeps entertaining to the end. Madonna is really good here, but it would have been nice to have more of her on-screen time

Who's That Girl 1987
Such a silly, stupid and trashy film that's it's genuinely entertaining. Don't expect much in terms of plot but it's so uniquely campy that I love it. Plus c'mon, there's Madonna in here! Fire soundtrack as well.

Dersu Uzala 1975
A celebration of the peoples and natural beauty of Siberia.
In this film, man is shown as a character which encroaches upon an established order, not respecting it and sacking, killing and destroying nature without regard.
Not many characters are particularly important in this film : in the end, one will probably just remember the friendship between Arsenev and the charming Dersu Uzala, which was a real figure faithfully represented in this film.Translated from by
