Glad I never saw this movie as a kid because I would have had several nightmares about the banshee and the cóiste-bodhar.
I am sorry to the proud nation of Ireland for this movie but also it was so charming and had me cracking the fuck up. Darby is a hoot and whenever King Brian did a magical backflip or started doing a little jig I lost my mind. Sean Connery was really good too -- something tells me this guy is gonna be famous one day!
