  It has been challenging to start 2024 after what felt like another unfulfilling year of my life.

  I don't know if I could recommend this film to ANYONE. It was in my mind, depraved in only the way geniuses can create. I have always enjoyed Yuasa's willingness to be open emotionally to an audience in a dirty, disgusting, visceral way. This film was desperate and painful. It was a horrible reminder of how I had felt clawing to find purpose…

  The second time around (English) I tried my best to decipher the wild adventure that was this film. I found myself enjoying myself less. Perhaps in trying to understand everything, we lose our sense of wonder.
