I see a lot of other reviews saying this film was bland and formulaic...maybe it was? It definitely kept my interest, but I wasn't overly amazed. I did enjoy seeing Cynthia Erivo in this role, as well as Janelle Monae (love her!!) and Leslie Odom Jr. All in all, I think I would have loved it if it had been a limited series as opposed to a film. Still, I'm thankful that this film exists. Tubman was a courageous woman. Very inspiring.

The Sea Beast 2022
What a gem of a movie! Similar to How To Train Your Dragon, thought it doesn't quite hit the same emotional beats. Still, a really cute story with fantastic animation.
