The most unboweaveable tale of our times, where the price of fame is costly and deadly.

Set in 1989, we see how far someone will go for her dream but well the hair has a mind of its own. Honestly as a dark comedy horror this works cause it's so ridiculous and I enjoyed a good portion of it.

When evil hair feasts on blood in.... unique ways, i lost it, including 1 scene that could be labeled "A period piece".

Sure it's not perfect and stumbles a few times but it's mostly enjoyable.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK ALEX GARLAND WAS THINKING WITH THAT THIRD ACT.

When mouring the loss of a loved one, make sure to visit the creepiest cottage possible, like Harper (Jessie Buckley) does after her husband James (Paapa Essiedu) dies.

Harper's interactions with Geoffrey (Rory Kinnear, in fine form) lay the groundwork for this tour through hysteria. When things kick into gear, I..... again I don't know what Garland was thinking with the final 30 or so minutes.

But it's atmospheric, chilling and Jessie is just tremendous.

"This is based on a true story"

A little girl named Michelle needs a liver transplant badly or she'll die. Her dad (Alan Ritchson) is hard-working and doing his best but the bills are astronomical.

The only one who can save the day is Sharon (played by Million Dollar Baby herself Hilary Swank) and through fundraising, refusing to take no for an answer and an insulting amount of clichés things come together.

Hilary was basically playing Erin Brockovich but in…

Money can't buy happiness but it can buy kinkiness in this Neon Studios offering where Hal (Christopher Abbott) has a favorite high end lady of the evening named Rebecca (Margaret Qualley). This however will be their last time together which sends this tale on a crazy path full of hilarity and nuttiness.

Easily one of the best movies of 2023 and such a powerhouse performance by Margaret who really is the spitting image of her mother Andie MacDowell.

Batshit insane at times would be the best way I could describe it and it ain't my kink but more power to y'all if it is.
