A Real Pain 2024
Wow! What a wonderful film. Great characters, all of them well developed and important to the story. It was very funny and heartbreaking at the same time and unlike so many films these days the ending is perfection. I cannot recommend this film more. Go see it!!!

Wonka 2023
Absolutely freaking adorable. This is a wonderful prequel to the 1971 Gene Wilder masterpiece. Also, a major positive is the length of the film. It is not too long, and that these days is rare. It is refreshing to go to see such an epic production without having to sit for over three hours. It's fun, the songs are catchy, Timothy Chalamet, Olivia Coleman & Hugh Grant are fabulous. Go watch it, you'll probably love it, and if you don't, at least you'll have a back story for the 1971 film.

Poor Things 2023
It's a beautiful film, the colours are stunning and there are some fantastic performances. It's not a 5* because I found the start slow and I don't feel as though it's a film that I will rewatch.
