  Another *** reducing and bastardising entire cultures, civilisations and religions in to shock factor mockeries of thousands of years of history. Eli Roth manages to take the incredibly complex religious and cultural elements of pre-Columbian mesoamerica and boil them down into “ooga booga scary jungle people” the Spanish empire  would be proud of this. I don’t see any difference between this and minstrel show or Jim Crow cartoons. There are many different ways you can make a tribe of jungle…

  Very unsettling, I would have punted the kid the through the window when it did the neck thing. Would have survived this movie.  Really good though. Reminds me about why I hate working the 9-5 life and would rather die than get a regular job
