Let me start this review by saying I don’t really think this is a good movie. But as this movie is part of a trilogy I will rate it based on its relation to the two before hand.

In my opinion the best content Star Wars has ever released. It’s the perfect sequel to A New Hope and builds upon the previous story line. I’m a sucker for the good guys losing and this movie surely delivers.

Compared to its predecessor, this movie does a lot better. The acting from the main trio feels far more humans. The lightsaber and blaster graphics look far better, the fight choreography feels more fluid and there is just a greater sense…

This movie surprisingly holds up very well. The opening scene has great spaceship, laser fight graphics and the introduction of Darth Vader holding up a grown man by just his neck is a great way to showcase how scary he is. Throughout the entire movie, the graphics hold up and while not necessarily hinting at a sequel, the movie sets up many mysteries and storylines, truly fleshing the Star Wars universe out.
