This film is disgusting and intriguing at the same time, I felt bad watching it, I remember the first time watching the “Irreversible by Gaspar Noe” this felt like it but the irreversible was too specific and explicit, this film did it in conversations, situations and scripts. One of the hardest watch at least for me
also this remind me of “Munchausen by Ari Aster”
I liked the hidden details of this film, one example is the watch that he took from his father every time the camera focuses on that, it is always covered with little blood, I think it symbolizes the trauma from the abuse of his father and many more. The scene where he imprisoned his family I just think it’s whack af. Overall it was an okay film not that good but also not that great
