this one was moderately good up until the climax, but that's silver-screen violence for you. still, preysing killing the baron over his pocketbook was fucked up! that dude needs anger management and some therapy
the rest of the movie somehow manages to balance all the plotlines very delicately, almost stifilingly so. We never see Grusinskaya interact with anyone but the Baron and her attending staff; feels like a waste of a character with so much intrigue. Everyone else was just fine to me, though i did find Preysing's plotline also bit weak.
