Perfect Blue 1997
The shifts between reality and illusion leaves you wondering what's actually happening and where. At points you are left confused whether everything is just happening in Mima's mind or whether it's in reality. The music, typical of a mystery/thriller genre adds to the suspense. The graphic scenes just add more. The only thing that could have been better was the animation. Although restricted by the situations, it was still sufficient for the movie to become the psychological thriller it is.
