you’re never too old to go to space camp

this is such a sweet and heartfelt film. will ferrell is an absolute delight in this. honestly the whole cast is great. the premise was interesting (there is alan wake everywhere for those with eyes to see), and while i felt it dragged in some sections, the overall experience was very nice. definitely a perfect sunday afternoon movie!

there’s a scene in this where julia roberts basically says “ok i guess ill just kill myself” and idk it caught me off guard and startled a genuine laugh out of me.

good acting, both Moore and Qualley are excellent. would have been a better movie (to me!) if it didn’t spell every single thing out for its audience, was very on the nose when i think it could have benefited from some subtlety. so gross, great sound design. i had a good time. i’d be acting like that too if i could look like margaret qualley so i get it

i thought this was great. well acted, i liked the score, the tension was strong. i thought the ending was poignant and to be frank it made me a bit teary eyed. & i liked that the one cardinal kept hitting his vape.
