The Florida Project 2017
This one got me. It’s such a raw, human story about low-income people portrayed with honesty. You rarely see stories like this, where the characters are real, flawed, and vulnerable without being reduced to clichés or stereotypes.

3 stars feels generous, honestly. I think Eggers was hamstrung, either by the source material or the studio, because this lacked any of the creativity I associate with his work.
