I know this movie gets pretty low ratings usually but it's one I'll go back to every now and again. It's crude yeah but Sandler and Sandberg play off each other so well, and the dual casting of Susan Sarandon and her daughter as the older and younger version of Ms Mcgillicutty is pretty genius. It's trashy fun.

Mothers' Instinct 2024
They pretty much had me at Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway. Chastain especially I will watch anything just cause she's in it. This drama/thriller plays with ambiguity maybe a bit too much before the reveal, the director feels like he's gaslighting the audience for much of the film, but Chastain is so good, as always.

Halloween Ends 2022
I loved this movie, love all the David Gordon Green Halloween trilogy. I love the bold choice of having this be mostly a movie about a final girl who falls for the movie's killer and a young man's descent to madness, with Laurie vs Michael Myers in their final fight being an afterthought almost.
Maybe not the best choice for hardcore fans of the franchise but it's a choice they stick with and I admire that.

Infinite 2021
This movie is so ridiculous. This sort of extra cheesy ball of awesomeness they used to make all the time in the 90s and 2000s. Just crazy world building and rules that make no sense but you just go with it.
Every chance the movie has to go extra, be it dialogue, an action scene , or a plot point it goes every bit extra it can. Go watch this movie if you miss crazy cheesy summer blockbusters.
