  A more intimate Mad Max-Universe story. 

  For those unaware; 
  Mad Max is a fairytale, a Lord of the Rings mythological tale set in the post-apocalypse. 

  Furisoa continues this tradition with its mythical desert-punk designs and world building. 
  Big Conan the Barbarian vibes amidst the bullets and motorized monstrosities.

  Thoroughly enjoyable, right next to Fury Road in terms of quality.

  While Re-Animator is a staple of camp horror, From Beyond often gets shamefully overlooked. 

  From Beyond takes the weirdness levels up to 11, complete with grotesque body horror, sexuality, and all the Freudian metaphors. 

  From the bewitching pink hue that overtakes the screen during the more frightening scenes, to the effects work by Mark Shostrom and John Carl Buechler paints a gory gothic portrait. 

  Fully recommended for your weirder horror movie nights. From Beyond is an oddity that deserves more eyeballs, even if they’re coming out of your brain.
