  Great special effects. Lots of good moments which are a good counter to the strange dialogue and characters. Music is really good, surprised they got so many artists licensed. Pretty good cinematography, average shots are interspersed with really good shots that could’ve been longer. Dario Argento with his unique style as usual.

  Some of the best story telling in cinema. Pacing is just right to provide melancholy while not being boring. Kieslowski provides subtle yet masterful cinematography which he flexes at just the right time, doesn’t stand out so much as to take the forefront like a Tarkovsky movie. All the characters seem to serve a purpose in not just the story itself but in the development of the main character.
