Hard to rate this imo
I didn’t really like it all that much, but there were a lot of interesting themes and commentary to get into with it I guess. I found myself thinking about those a lot more than what was actually going on (maybe because not much was going on). Movies where the topic at hand is intentionally dull or lackluster are kinda hard for me to appreciate
Alright have many thoughts on this. Probably will go back and add some as they come. In summary: this movie is dope. So many cool things and seems pretty effortless. However, having read the book in preparation for this movie, I am a little let down.

Literally amazing. The perfect way to tell such a complex and twisted story about American history. Demonstrated politics, the human mind, and unrelenting ambition in a perfect balance. I thought of this like halfway through and couldn’t get it out of my head but it genuinely felt exactly like an episode of Revisionist History. Transported into the life of Oppenheimer not to make a comment about right or wrong or what we would have done, but to show the human condition through these crazy real stories. Wouldn’t be surprised if Malcolm Gladwell produced it.

I know I was about the furthest from the target audience for this movie, so my critiques are not for the themes or what it’s trying to say. It was told unlike any movie I’ve seen before, and almost felt closer to a Disney Channel Original Movie than a blockbuster.
