I'm conflicted. which do i like more, the prequels, or the original trilogy? if my enjoyment of the final movie was enhanced by the FULL story of anakin skywalker, do i credit the prequels for the feeling i have now, or do i credit the original trilogy for writing a great story that set up the prequels to do a great job? or maybe i can just enjoy a series of movies without pitting them against each other and ruining…

The Empire Strikes Back 1980
everything I said about the previous movie and more.
everything feels inventive and new and fun. the sets are fantastic, practical effects are once again great, and the plot is super solid. characters seem inconsistent to how they were in the prequels, but that isnt this movie’s fault is it? lightsaber fights are lame, but as expected. corny ahh movie, but super solid. this movie seems to have defined starwars, and has just about every iconic moment from the series.

Exam 2009
This is quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. this movie was featured on a buzzfeed “52 Movies That Are So Clever They'll Have You Thinking For Days” at #12 between “The Truman Show” and “The Matrix”. I legitimately think this is the most dissatisfied I have ever been with a movie in my life.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I saw the movie last night at 10:30 and havent been able to stop thinking about it. I think that of all the things this movie does well, the thing it does the best is scale. This is without a doubt the “biggest” movie I have ever seen. Denis Villeneuve takes “show dont tell” to the furthest extent here. The wide angled shots and birds eye views give a sense of scale to the massive armies, ships, cites and creatures…
