I'll be thinking about this one for a long time. Absolute slow, quiet burn makes it so much more devastating as it progresses. And the violence is so matter-of-fact that it becomes disturbing in a way I wasn't anticipating. Lilly Gladstone is the heart and soul of this film, and does as much with her glances as I've seen any actress do with more. Marty knows how to end a movie and goddamn this ending is perfect imo, though I'm curious how others will receive it.

The Innocents 1961
Damn, that deep focus wide-angle cinematography got me good. Masterclass performances. The lighting and acting combine for a beautifully haunting film. Feeling this one a lot, highly recommend the new Criterion 4K.
