  One of the only sci-fi movies that barely even needed the aliens. I was excited for the movie for two years, and damn… how unfortunate. It wasn’t bad necessarily, it just didn’t get anywhere near expectations.

  For a film that’s about 50% awkward silence, I really enjoyed a lot of this. The charm lies in the weird little details. The hunting magazine, the dice, the tesla coil. The movie has it all. 

  “RZA and GZA of the Wu Tang Clan convince Bill Murray to gargle with oven cleaner” sounds like something out of South Park. But it happens in this movie, and it’s charming. 

  There’s so much great about this film. Steve Coogan wears a beautiful coat.
